Three families in pursuit of a shared passion have come together to create 868 Estate Vineyards on the Loudoun County Wine Trail. The adventure began when Peter Deliso, Wendy Charron and Carl DiManno, all with a strong interest in amazing wine and hospitality experiences, decided to take the bold step to open a premier vineyard and winery. The group began the long search throughout Northern Virginia for the right combination of soils, beautiful views, and friendly neighbors.

Three years later, this dream became reality when Peter, Wendy and Carl, together with their families, established 868 Estate Vineyards on 120 acres of forests, orchards and gardens in Loudoun County. At 868, Carl, our innovative wine maker, creates beautiful wines through careful blending of old world practices and cutting edge technologies.

Our vineyard was launched in 2012 when we planted the first 10 acres of vines and opened the doors to our tasting room where we are proud to pour a variety of wines including Pinot Grigio, Rose’, Chardonnay, Merlot and others.

868 Estate Vineyards includes the elegant and intriguing Grandale Restaurant, opened in 2005, that specializes in fine dining and catered events. Our Executive Chef, Author Clark, takes a serious culinary approach to the farm-to-table concept, serving seasonal American Haute Cuisine prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients to the extent possible.

The initial phase of our development has our beautiful, contemporary tasting room located on the historic Grandale Farm which has been a family farm for many generations. However, our long term vision is to build an innovative tasting room and events center on the top of the hill. Share in our journey as we utilize sustainable practices in our grape cultivation, embrace old world traditions in our wine making and live out the farm-to-table philosophy in our restaurant.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
