I was raised on a small farm in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia with my family. We raised our own animals and had a large garden and berry patches. I loved the simple life on the farm, and I learned at an early age that anything “home grown” or “handmade” brings more enjoyment and a much greater satisfaction to life.

I have been drawn to the warmth and usefulness of pottery for many, many years, and I finally had the opportunity to begin takings classes about 8 years ago. I set up my home studio in 2012, and I produce all of my pieces on the wheel or by hand building in my studio on our family farm in Berkeley County, West Virginia. I focus on functional, durable, well-made pottery that can used and enjoyed every day, not just on special occasions!

I hope my pieces bring you as much joy as creating them brings to me……I hope you find something that speaks to you!
