Escaped inmate missing in Jefferson County UPDATE: Apprehended

Fugitive has been located and apprehended in Kearneysville. The police were able to secure footage of him in a sheetz in MD(don’t exactly understand how that happens but sure). His 25 year old girlfriend was also arrested for aiding him.

Inmate Tyler Wynkoop, sentenced for grand larceny, has been missing since 6:15 this morning.

Police are on the lookout for a 2001 white Jeep Grand Cherokee with West Virginia plates 2RS233.
